Brother Scotty and Sister Roni Spears Anderson reside in Gallatin, Tennessee. They have served in ministry together since 2017. Before being appointed Pastor and First Lady at Redemption House, they served as leaders in the College and Career Age Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Family Ministry, and Compassion Committee. They have served as cabin leaders and have held other roles at youth camps and fall youth retreats for the State of Tennessee. Roni was a part of Lakeside Church of God of Prophecy for over 40 years. She is active in and is a huge supporter of youth camp ministry at Camp Hickory Hills in Dickson, Tennessee. In his time at Lakeside, Scotty served as the director of Men’s Ministries and served in an Associate Pastor Role.
Scotty was set forth as a Lay Minister in February 2020 and Licensed as a Minister during the 2023 Tennessee State Convention. He is enrolled in Spirit and Life Seminary with approximately 27 credit hours until completion. “We are extremely humbled and excited that the Lord has brought us into this season. We have prayed and sought after God’s calling. We feel this is exactly where God has led us for such a time as this. Our goal is to support this small but beautiful church in building a strong community of believers that show the love of Jesus to all. We desire to make Jesus famous and make heaven crowded!”
The Anderson’s have four beautiful children. During their free time they enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling as time allows. Together, they love a good cruise!
Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.
